Chocolate Frosting

Delicious chocolate frosting for any sweet occasion.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
2 cups unsalted butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
6 cups icing sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder
4 to 6 tbsp. milk


1. To make the frosting:

Cream the butter, vanilla extract and melted chocolate.
In a separate bowl, sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder.
Gradually add it onto the butter mixture, mix well after each addition.
Mix in enough milk to make the frosting "muddy."

2. TIP: The frosting may be made a few days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
Before frosting, bring it to room temperature, then rewhip.
